This one-day Prepared Childbirth Class is a refresher course for pregnant women and their significant other/labor coach who have had a prior birth. The class will review information about the birth process, breathing techniques, pain medications, anesthesia and hospital routines. A tour of the Labor and Deliver unit, nursery, and postpartum unit is included. Attendance is encouraged in the sixth to seventh month of pregnancy.
