Hendrick Health System president and CEO Tim Lancaster recently announced Jeremy Walker as new Chief Financial Officer.
“We are fortunate to have Jeremy join the Hendrick team,” said Lancaster. “He brings a wealth of knowledge from his experiences and training with a variety of other healthcare systems."
Before coming to Hendrick, Walker served as vice president of Finance for Hospital Corporation of America based in Arlington.
His previous positions included Assistant Chief Financial Officer for Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City and financial analyst for Triad Hospitals in Franklin, Tenn.
“Over the past nine decades, Hendrick has been committed to providing a legacy of exceptional care with Christian compassion for the citizens of Abilene and its surrounding communities,” said Walker. “I consider it an honor and a privilege to be given the opportunity to contribute to this legacy.”
Walker received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Accounting from Freed- Hardeman University in Tenn., and a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from Oklahoma Christian University.
“In addition to my excitement about being a part of the Hendrick family, my wife and I are also looking forward to living in Abilene and raising our daughter in such a caring and family-centered community,” said Walker.
