Tumor Board Case Presentation will be held on Friday, July 19, 2013, in Auxiliary Conference Center A from 12 - 1 p.m.
At the completion of this presentation, the participant will be able to:
1. Describe presenting history, signs and symptoms, laboratory and radiographic findings that illustrate the range of findings in various malignant neoplasms in order to provide a logical basis for the treatment and prognosis of the disease.
2. Identify the course of the disease including pattern recognition of disease presentation, diagnostic work-up and complications that may manifest in specific malignancies.
3. Formulate a treatment plan, including recognition and management of potential toxicities and complications as well as benefits and risks associated with the various malignancies and their treatments.
This activity is open to all physicians of Hendrick Medical Center but would be of particular interest to those in primary care medicine, internal medicine, medical oncology, hematology, pathology, diagnostic radiology, radiation oncology and surgery.
