Patient and Family Support

Our specialized “Joint Venture” class offers you and your family information and tools regarding joint replacement of the hip or knee. Our staff walks you through the process from pre-operative activities to going home. During your stay, our social worker and case manager will help set up equipment and home health services or skilled placement for when you are ready to discharge.  Dietitians are available to meet your special needs. Physical therapists and occupational therapists will develop a plan of care to promote the highest level of function and independence after surgery.
