Courses are currently offered at Hendrick Medical Center for college academic credit through Hardin-Simmons, Abilene Christian, and McMurry Universities.
Introduction to Hospital Ministry is an undergraduate course for students to begin integrating theology, psychology, and education in a clinical setting. Preference is given to ministry students for the ten available slots. Other disciplines are allowed if room is available.
Healthcare Ministry is a graduate course for students to further develop their individualized goals in health care ministry and to engage health care professionals about the needs of various patients and their families. Students are encouraged to pursue Clinical Pastoral Education to further their educational development.
