Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis is a disease that causes bones to thin and weaken thus becoming more susceptible to fracture. At its worst, osteoporosis can result in chronic pain, disability, physical deformity and loss of independence, but it is preventable and treatable. Bone density tests are used to diagnose osteoporosis.
