Vera West Women’s Center provides screening and diagnostic digital mammography services. Also provided are women’s ultrasound services and bone density testing. Vera West Women's Center is located on the second floor of the Hickory Center, 1850 Hickory Street in Abilene, Texas. To schedule a screening mammogram, call 325.670.4270.

The Hendrick Prenatal Clinic provides offers early pregnancy healthcare for uninsured women who are eligible for Medicaid.  Hendrick Prenatal Clinic offers a range of pregnancy services including physical examination, lab work, pregnancy education, and routine prenatal follow-up visits through 35 weeks gestation.

Prenatal Clinic patients will be screened on site for Medicaid eligibility. Once a patient’s Medicaid coverage becomes active, she will be referred to a private physician for care during the remainder of her pregnancy.

At your first visit to Hendrick Prenatal Clinic, you will be required to provide written documentation of pregnancy. Pregnancy tests are available at:

Hendrick Center for Rehabilitation provides programs targeted specifically to treat health issues faced by women. These issues include urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, and postpartum gynecological issues, osteoporosis, aquatics therapy, and general strengthening for the mature adult.
