One hundred percent of your contribution stays at Hendrick to benefit Hendrick Children's Hospital, The BirthPlace, Hendrick Center for Rehabilitation and other children's services throughout Hendrick Health System. Each dollar touches lives of local children by purchasing the latest in medical equipment, educational materials and other necessary items to treat some of our most special patients.

No one cares more for children than Hendrick Health System and no one cares for more children than Hendrick Health System. Last year we treated more than 32,000 children. More than half were under age 12. The children served come from diverse backgrounds, including various economic and ethnic backgrounds and were treated without regard for ability to pay.

Each child is a different, precious masterpiece in the making. The care of a child's health is perhaps the highest calling to which Hendrick staff can strive. That is why we devote
special resources to the unique needs of children... from tiny blood pressure cuffs to the region's only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Children not only require a wider range of equipment and supplies; they also require professional skills, extra caution and more time from their healthcare givers.
