Education
Healthcare professionals may receive continuing education credits, recertification
and attend a variety of workshops and classes through the Department
of Education and Professional Development. Staff and community members
alike may take advantage of the great opportunities provided throughout
the year.
For employees of Hendrick Medical Center, the Department of Education and Professional Development provides orientation, competency testing, inservices and educational training.

Patient and Family Education
Education and resources are part of the services provided by Hendrick Medical Center. Patients receive education both in the hospital and through outpatient services. Visit the Diabetes Education or WOC Nurse.
Sellers Library
The Sellers Health Sciences Library offers health sciences books, internet service and full-text online journals to health sciences professionals, as well as to the public. Computer searches are also available at no charge to physicians, administrators and student nurses employed by Hendrick Medical Center. A fee will be charged for computer searches completed for non-employees of Hendrick Medical Center. Visit the Sellers
