First Choice members can take advantage of an array of health screenings and wellness
related activities.
Free Health Screenings:
Members may schedule appointments for the two previous screenings by calling centralized scheduling, 325.670.4270 or 1.800.670.4270. It is necessary to fast (no food or liquids for 12 hours prior to the test) for the Coronary Risk Profile but not for the PSA. However, blood samples for both tests can be drawn by lab technicians at the same time. Test results are sent directly to the member’s home address within 10 business days.
FirstChoice members eligible for this free annual test can pick up the screening packet at the Learning Center located within the Hendrick Cancer Center at 2000 Pine Street. Or, members can call the Learning Center at 325.670.4488 and ask for a packet to be mailed to them
- Rehab Fitness Program Discount. A post-therapy program for those completing physical therapy or for those who want to maintain their fitness level. This program utilizes both land-based and pool exercises. Physician’s release required. Sponsored by Hendrick Center for Rehabilitation. Call 325.670.6023 for more details.

- Defensive Driving. - Free health indicator checks are offered two times a year. We will check your blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar (diabetes) and provide a free hearing screening.
