Nursing at Hendrick
Hendrick Nursing Internships
Hendrick nursing internships provide a customized orientation period that fits your unique talents, strengths and experience. Unlike the traditional one-size-fits-all orientation, the nursing internships create learning opportunities for each new licensed nurse based on their individual needs and goals. Clinical coaches, nurse managers, unit educators, charge nurses and an education coordinator create a dynamic team ensuring that each nurse is successful in the completion of the nursing internship. Prior to Licensed Nurse Orientation, you will discuss your nursing background with the PBDS coordinator. This computer-based system assesses your learning opportunities and creates a customized orientation. More (Adobe PDF)

Annuity/Retirement Plan
Enrollment to our annuity/retirement plan is automatic upon employment for eligible employees. These are long-term savings plans allowing employees to plan for post-employment years. Employees are enrolled to participate at a rate of three percent of their annual salary on a tax-sheltered plan. Hendrick will match the employee's contribution up to three percent.
