About Pathway to ExcellenceTM

The Pathway the Excellence designation was originally created in 2005 as the Nurse-Friendly designation by the Texas Nurses Association. The designation became Pathway to Excellence in 2008. Pathway to Excellence identifies the elements of work environments where nurses can flourish. The designation confirms the professional satisfaction of nurses at Hendrick Medical Center and identifies it as one of the best places to work.
