The Lebed Method Focus on Healing through Movement and Dance is a therapeutic exercise and movement program for women who have had any type of breast cancer intervention. It has also proven helpful to people with any type of chronic illness, such as arthritis, M.S. or fibromyalgia.

The Lebed Method is fun, easy to do and helps participants to:

  • Regain and maintain range of motion
  • Increase upper body mobility
  • Stretch the body to improve movement decreased by scar tissue
  • Rebalance the body physically and emotionally
  • Stimulate circulation and the lymphatic immune system
  • Reduce the risk of lymphedema
  • Reduce depression
  • Stabilize weight
  • Increase emotional stability
  • Relieve "frozen shoulder" and neck and back pain
  • Increase energy
  • Promote positive self-image and empowerment
  • Create a network of support and sharing
  • Prevent future health problems

Class Information
Classes are offered one night a week in six-week sessions. Each class lasts an hour.
