Learn about your developing body

This class provides a way for girls, ages 9-12, with their mothers or other significant women to begin important conversations about maturation, changing bodies, and menstruation.

A brief and simple introduction to the opposite sex is included. This is not the focus of the class, but it is briefly covered in relation to fertilization of the egg and pregnancy. Appropriate anatomical terms and drawings for both genders are used.

This class will be taught by Registered Nurse and Physical Therapist.
